A percentage of PANTS UN-HEELED profits will be donated to the “Over the Rainbow Fund.”
Inspired by its founder, Cheryl Mancini, the Fund became reality when she saw the devastating effects that divorce brought to a lot of hard working parents. Unable to make ends meet in a single parent household, many lost most of their income, their family home and the ability to support their children in a safe environment.
Ms. Mancini purchased a small villa for a friend, and a dream came to her. Many of the divorced parents she knew were hard working and dedicated to raising their children, but were struggling daily, weekly, and monthly to make ends meet. She committed that the resources from the Over the Rainbow Fund would purchase safe homes in good neighborhoods to alleviate worries for many families. Assisting them to achieve their dreams of owning decent housing for themselves and their children has become her passion.
From those who participate in the program, the Fund collects just enough rent to cover costs as the new residents get back on their feet. Through the Fund’s purchase program, residents become owners without the pressure usually experienced by home buyers with limited income. Ms. Mancini says, “We hold the mortgages to allow families to move into nicer and safer areas than they could otherwise afford.”
While enduring the heartbreak and pressures of her own divorce, Ms. Mancini volunteered in a homeless shelter where she saw that many homeless men, women, and children did not have the necessities for daily living. Her commitment is also to donate a percentage of PANTS UN-HEELED profits to help feed and house the homeless. The sale of this product is Ms. Mancini’s avenue to her dreams.

Pants Un-Heeled (PUH) is a patented device that helps all women. In the year 2005, my sister-in-law, Catalina and myself were discussing this annoying problem, when the idea was born! After a slow start and many obstacles that had to be climbed over, Pants Un-Heeled was born in February 2008.
Pants Un-Heeled’s goal is to make enough income to help single Mother’s raising their children. It is not a give away program but a helping hand as the newly single Mom’s get more independent. Maybe they need a place to live, food, or just someone to talk to, PUH wants to be there helping them along the way.
PUH also would like to help feed and house the homeless. After the founder worked in a homeless shelter she realized that many people face horrible obstacles to get over and some never do. That a helping hand is always needed for them, a voice and a place to lay their heads down.
PUH is a new start up company and does not have the financial dream mentioned above just YET! But we are well on our way to achieve this dream!
